Paediatric Specialist
( 0 – 18 years )
For paediatric conditions, I typically use acupuncture, moxibustion, and meridian acupoint massage (for infants and young children). These treatments are effective for common Colds, Rhinitis, Tonsillitis, Asthma, Physical weakness, Gastrointestinal diseases, Anorexia, Enuresis, Acne, ADHD, Autism, Developmental delays, Cerebral palsy, Epilepsy, Stuttering, Chorea, Depression, Myopia and Allergy prevention.
All the above conditions can also be treated with Chinese herbal medicine. For children unable to visit the clinics for acupuncture, I offer online video consultations and can mail herbal medicines. Additionally, I provide regular health check-ups for children to boost their immunity.
Typical Cases
Developmental Delay:
-
Boy, 3.5 years old: Could not walk, spoke very little, had unclear speech, lacked comprehension, was timid, and feared strangers and unfamiliar environments. He had low immunity, caught colds easily, cried at night, wet the bed, and had a poor appetite. After two months of treatment, he gradually began to walk, his speech became clearer, he became more outgoing, could recognize people other than his parents, and his physical condition improved. After six months of treatment, he fully recovered and met all normal developmental milestones for his age.
ADHD:
-
Boy, 9 years old: Began showing symptoms 10 months ago. He frequently shrugged his shoulders, twitched his nose, grimaced, was hyperactive, couldn't focus in class, talked excessively, and sometimes hit or cursed others. He was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. After acupuncture every other day, his shoulder shrugging, nose twitching, and grimacing disappeared after five sessions. His self-control improved after ten sessions. After fifteen sessions, he could concentrate in class, and his academic performance improved. He was nearly cured after twenty sessions.
Autism:
-
TCM treatment shows significant advantages in improving autism. Clinical treatment has found that a combination of Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and massage can enhance treatment effectiveness, improve physical condition, and increase learning ability. Acupuncture can notably improve symptoms by calming the patient, enhancing sleep, and boosting language and communication skills.
Chorea:
-
Boy, 11 years old: Had been experiencing body tremors for two years. It started with involuntary eyebrow movements and gradually involved the tongue, lips, nose, and ankles. Recently, his limbs also exhibited irregular tremors. After six acupuncture sessions, the irregular movements decreased, and he could control some involuntary movements. After twelve sessions, his symptoms disappeared, and he regained full voluntary movement, achieving a complete cure.
Stuttering:
-
Boy, 5 years old: Had been stuttering for over two years and could not speak in complete sentences. Speech therapy for over six months was ineffective. His condition significantly improved after one acupuncture session and was completely cured after two sessions.
Anorexia:
-
Girl, 4 years old: Had a poor appetite and often refused to eat. She was diagnosed with anorexia and received acupuncture and herbal treatment. After three weeks, her appetite improved, and she began eating normally. Follow-up over one year showed no recurrence.
-
Moxibustion treatment for anorexia in children aged 1 to 12: 36 cases were treated with moxibustion, receiving between 5 and 20 treatments each. All were completely cured.
